2016 has been an exceptional year for us so far, and we have made several important technological upgrades, not only in our machining hall, but also in our QC department.
As quality is essential to us, accuracy is a crucial aspect which cannot under any circumstances be compromised, and to ensure even more reliable and expedient handling of our QC processing, we have recently purchased a Mitutoyo CRYSTA-APEX S574 CMM unit.
The CRYSTA-Apex S is a high-accuracy CNC coordinate measuring machine that guarantees a maximum permissible error of *Eo,MPE = (1.7+3L /1000)μm (500/700/900 Series), and therefore the measurement uncertainty is within one-fifth of the dimension tolerance up to 30.2" (766mm).
In addition, the Crysta-Apex is equipped with a temperature compensation system that guarantees the accuracy of measurement under temperature conditions of 60.8 to 78.8°F (16 to 26°C). With its combination of high speed and high acceleration, the CRYSTA-Apex S dramatically reduces measuring time, which greatly increases the efficiency of our QC department. We are confident that this addition will be of great value to us and our customers who will benefit from the higher level of reliability we are now capable of achieving in our performance of essential QC services.
