Project Management:
More than a decade of tooling experience enables us to provide cost-efficient solutions from initial tool design to final assembly and trial.
We aim for 100% customer satisfaction and always strive to ensure our customers get the best price, quality, value and industry standards for your project. Our approach to project management emphasizes extensive dialogue with our customers, while our focus on process-efficiency secures effective cost-control and minimizes unnecessary waste of time and resources.
When we undertake a project, we will assign a manufacturing team who oversees your project, and as part of our regular customer service, our program managers will deliver scheduled project status reports and keep your project on track for time and budget. Our business development manager will guarantee that your account needs are met, while our manufacturing team of tooling and quality engineers will optimize the manufacturing of your product.
To further assist you, we can provide advice and recommendations for improvement, based on our extensive manufacturing experience, to ensure optimal tool/product design before production commences. Of course, we will be happy also to provide our expertise in selecting the best resin for your specific project.
In the event acute assistance is required, we have both German speaking and Portuguese speaking engineers who can be dispatched for on-site assistance.
In short, our vast experience and huge capacity allow us to guarantee:
· All projects are finished on time while fulfilling all your quality requirements.
· Full Process control to ensure your mould meets all cycle times criteria with parts in full conformance to design specifications.
DFM: Designing for Manufacturability
As nearly 70% of a product’s manufacturing costs (materials, machining, and assembly) are determined through design decisions, the importance of DFM cannot be understated in product development and manufacturing. Therefore, optimal part design is the starting point for producing quality parts. For us, the DFM phase is an essential process driver which sets the course for both mould design and consequent production.
Our quality design considers product value and is always included as part of our mould manufacturing. We have an experienced engineering team who uses 3D design tools and structural analysis software to create and validate product designs. In addition, we can perform mold flow analysis to refine your product during development.
For us, each finished part must meet requirements as expected, every time, and specific testing of the quality and dimensional requirements of a given part is continued during every stage of the process. Aspects such as tolerances, maximum displacement, hole-sizing, strength, etc., are constantly evaluated and updated as required. We understand clearly that any modification to a design requires a thorough computation of the impact on the three F's: Fit (interaction with other components), Form (size, shape and balance) and Function (specific purpose) of the part. At Bestter, we are committed to ensure that all of these criteria are met, while maintaining speed and efficiency to retain cost-efficiency.

The vast manufacturing experience we have acquired along with our thorough DFM processes can help to reduce additional costs usually associated with manufacturing, as we can throw in our ability to reproduce spare components without having to pull a mould out of production. This, in turn, generates less waste and creates a larger process window for our customers.
