Our basic metal working capabilities includes both milling and grinding departments where our highly skilled engineers operate horizontal milling and grinding centers to achieve tolerances of ± 0.002 mm
EDM Machining
At Bestter we can provide both conventional ram/sinker EDM, Wire-cut, and small hole EDM drilling. With our machine park including GF AgieCharmilles and Sodick units, we are more than well-equipped to meet even the most critical tolerance and precision requirements.
We offer high-precision, close tolerance wire EDM services and have exceptional capabilities in small wire EDM machining down to 0.3mm diameter wire size. Our precision EDM capabilities include 3-axis wire EDM, 3-axis sinker EDM, as well as EDM small hole burning or small hole popping.
Of course, our engineers are all experts at programming and operating our equipment and therefore we are capable of meeting stringent quality and lead-time requirements.
CNC Machining
In addition to our vast range of EDM options, we can provide complex 3-D machining in our CNC center where complicated three and five-axis machining is accomplished by our skilled craftsmen.Our calibrated and extremely precise Mikron and Moriseiki machines enable us to achieve close CNC surface grinding to tolerances of ±.002mm which allows for critical final part shapes with complex geometries including tapers and slots.
All programming is done in-house where machining configurations are coded on our Mastercam system and we can accept both .igs, .stp, parasolid and Solidwork files for direct input into our system.
Materials
Our processing capability covers a wide range of plastics including: PVC / TPE-S / TPE-V / ABS / PP / PE-HD / PE-LD / PA6 / PA66 / PA6 GF30 / PA66 GF30 / PPS / POM / PC / PPA
Steel Standards
We have access to virtually any steel type required, most commonly used types include: 1.2344, 1.3343, 1.2080, 1.2842, M390, W400, ASP23, ASP60, SKD11, SKD61, HPM31, PD613, etc.
Mould Base Steels
We can design mouldbases and customize components in full accordance with requirements. Standards include DME, HASCO, FUTABA, VAP, LKM, Meusburger and many more are available upon request.
Hot Runner Brands
HUSKY, MOLDMASTER, MASSTIP, DME, YUDO and many more are available upon request.
